Spring Retreat | April 8-9

Spring Retreat is coming! April 8-9 we are going to host our own retreat for students right here in Manhattan, KS. This weekend will be an opportunity for students to grow in their faith and learn how to live out their life for Jesus in plain sight. So when people see them they will also see Jesus. We will have an amazing youth pastor from Abilene, Andrew Jansen, coming to share the word that weekend.

This weekend will be full of worship, teaching, small groups, a service project, a fun activity around town (hoping for Leap but finalizing those details), bon fire, and growing closer to our friends, leaders, and Jesus.

We will be transforming the garage at UCC into a worship venue for our main sessions. Friday evening we will be staying in the cabins at Camp Toma Shinga in Junction City. To help students get the everything they can out of this retreat, I'm asking to please treat it like an out of town event. The less students have to leave and come back for various reasons, the more they will be able to engage and learn what Jesus has for them.

Including in every students registration is lodging, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, a t-shirt, and the cost of our fun afternoon activity. Please eat dinner before dropping your student off! Dinner will not be served on Saturday evening. Registration will open at 9pm on February 23rd.
