Oasis is a weekend conference for middle school students held here in Manhattan. It will be real and relevant, fun and engaging, while fueling and sending students to make big impact for Jesus in today's culture.

Derry Prenkert is speaking at Oasis this year. He is beginning his 3rd decade of vocational ministry. He currently serves at Standing Stone Ministry offering pastoral coaching, cohorts, consulting, and care. Vocational ministry can be full of challenging, exhausting, confusing, and lonely seasons. Derry aims to partner alongside pastors in those seasons. 

Drawing from 25 years of local church ministry, He has dedicated this season of life to serving ministry leaders and ministries (with a specialized focus on youth ministry) as they seek to live out their God-given mission reaching the next generation.

​Students will be staying right here at UCC. They will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow because we are sleeping in the UCC Youth Building. Girls on one side of the building and boys on the opposite side of the building.

​

Cost:

• $70 (by October 16)

• $85 (after October 16)

• October 27th is our hard deadline. No registrations will be accepted after 10/27.

If the registration cost is an obstacle for you in going to Oasis, please know that we don't want finances to keep you from participating. The church will do what we can to assist you. We ask that you fill out a SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION online for the event.

What Should I Bring?

Clothing, toiletries, towel, overnight sleep stuff (sleeping bag, pillow, PJs, favorite story books to read to your friends), Bible, journal or notebook, writing utensil, reusable water bottle, and a friend!
